New Giveaway! Win $100 Gift Card To The Grocery Store Of Your Choice!

by Dian on June 1, 2010

Ok, here we go!  Cellfire is the sponsor of this giveaway!  I have told you about Cellfire before and told you before when and where to use them.  But, we will talk a bit more about that. too.

The Cellfire banner is on the left side of this page toward the bottom where the Red Plum, Smart Source, and other coupon banners are located.

With Cellfire you can load coupons right onto your shopper’s card for the stores you shop at regularly.   I love Cellfire, because there is no printing involved, no cashier checking it out front and back and no holding up the line.  It is all automated it comes off when they scan your shopper’s card for that store.  All you do is go whenever there are new Cellfire coupons and download them all to your card – you don’t have to download them all, but, why not, you might see an unadvertised sale that it will work with.  I also do it because I forget sometimes what I have and haven’t downloaded and it makes for a nice little surprise at the end when i realize I got savings I wasn’t even counting on because it was on my card already!

I usually list the coupons that are available each time the reset so you can get them all right then without forgetting.

So, with Cellfire:

1.  No printing

2.  No forgetting a coupon at home

3.  Works with the store reward card you re already using

So, why in the world would you NOT use Cellfire?  You are already using the store card to checkout, it’s the same as throwing away coupons without even looking at them!

Well, all that said, let’s talk a bit about what you can win!

There will be 1 winner – that winner will receive a $100 Gift Card to the Grocery Store of their choice!!!!  WooHoo!  You can do some damage with that!!

So, how do you win?  This will be a fun contest!

First entry: Comment after this post, make sure to leave your email address for me to contact you if you win.

Second entry: Leave a frugal, deal hunting, couponing, or rebating tip! This is a separate entry that requires a second comment.

Third entry – Fifth entries: This contest will last for 2 weeks, throughout that 2 weeks, I will write 3 more posts about this contest, in them you will find a different food group, to get the third – fifth entries, just post a recipe for that food group in the forums under the Recipe section and then comment back here that you did.  HA! Y’all thought I was gonna leave y’all alone about the forums, huh?  Nope!  I want ya’ll to get in there and share deals, and interact with each other!  Make sure you comment back here for entries 3-5 after you do them!

That should give you plenty of ways to enter!  There will be 1 winner!  To qualify you MUST do the first entry and then additional entries are governed by the terms above. You MUST comment for each entry you are able to make. This giveaway is open to U.S. residents only, 18 years old or over, and the winners will be chosen by And The Winner Is…. This giveaway will end June 16th at 12:01 am Central time and the winners will be announced soon thereafter.  If the winner does not respond to my email within 48 hours then I will pick a new winner. Good luck!

My frugal tip….take advantage of a flexible spending account your employers may have. I run my flex card EVERYTIME I checkout somewhere and i usually will find something I didn’t know was covered! PLUS its tax free money.

Let’s see, I have 2 tips. One has to do with meeting minimums for store coupons. Use “Free” items and rebate items to get the minimum for less outlay.

Second, I make extra money from my friends and coworkers that don’t want to bother with coupons and deals. They tell me what they’re looking for, I pick it up for free or really cheap and they pay me! $30 last week. I keep trying to get them “edjumicated”, but they still aren’t interested. Go figure…LOL

Would love to win. :)

8 Megan June 1, 2010 at 4:13 pm

My frugal tip is to stock up on great sales, but if you miss out on a deal, most likely it will come around again.

13 Stacey Heck June 1, 2010 at 5:17 pm

I am very new to this and just learning. I haven’t gotten the hang of it yet, but I have been trying to “file” my coupons by date/source so I can locate them easier when someone notes a deal with a specific coupon. I am not having to hunt through all the cut up coupons to fine one specific coupon. I only clip what I plan to use, but I will take the rest in a large envelope just in case.

My deal hunting tip is about clearance items. I know what to expect to go on clearance by cking out advance copies of their ads (Walgreens and CVS). I know if its going on sale in a week or two then its going on clearance that week or two before and I go in and watch it every Monday when they do the clearance at my fav stores!

Oh and I cannot wait for the recipe posts because I cannot cook right now due to a kitchen remodel but when I can I want to have a laundry list of good recipes to try.

20 Christie June 1, 2010 at 11:44 pm

21 Nicole June 2, 2010 at 1:21 am

What a great giveaway!!

22 Leslie June 2, 2010 at 9:44 am

Please enter me in the drawing. I think everyone could use this. $100 to spend on groceries. With a family of 3 that would go a long way. Thanks for the info on Cellfire…didn’t know it existed!!

23 Leslie June 2, 2010 at 9:47 am

My shopping tip — try store brands over brand names when you don’t have a coupon. In most cases I have found them to be just as good as the brand names.

24 Ellen C. June 2, 2010 at 12:35 pm

We could most definitely use this. Thanks for the chance.

25 Melissa Barnes June 2, 2010 at 6:23 pm

26 Melissa Barnes June 2, 2010 at 6:25 pm

best frugal tip i have is to keep up to date on your grocery store’s deals and try and find coupons to match – also register for any store’s reward programs like cvs and walgreens!

.-= sarah wagner´s last blog ..Wow… Time flys!! =-.

34 Karen June 4, 2010 at 3:05 am

53??? I just about fell off my chair. How do you do 53 transactions in a grocery store without them bodily removing you?? LOL

So much fun to use cellfire! I don’t have to worry about changing coupon policies either!

48 Beth A. June 6, 2010 at 11:12 pm

My money saving tip: Since I have kids that will have lots of parties to go to each year (since they are young) and not all will be really good friends (those we actually buy something they really want)…I stock up on standard gifts like board games, art supplies, legos, barbies, etc. when they are on really great sales or on clearance and put them away in our gift closet that way I’m not running out to shop the morning of the party spending more than I actually want to for a kid in the class that is more of an aquaintance!

49 Erin from Long Island June 6, 2010 at 11:51 pm

I thought I already commented, but it looks like I was wrong! I could easily polish off that card!

50 Erin from Long Island June 6, 2010 at 11:53 pm

my frugal tip is print out a ton of coupons at once and keep them in your wallet or purse. That way, when you see it on sale, you will have a coupon! Een better is to check circulars online (but theyare not always reliable)

51 Erin from Long Island June 6, 2010 at 11:55 pm

I added a meat recipe. I hope chicken is OK as a meat!

Cellfire has some great coupons! Love the $1.00 off Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters.

61 shel June 9, 2010 at 3:04 am

My tip is to leave your coupons in the car so you never forget them at home. I’m also the first one to approach a store manager and ask for a discount if a package is damaged or a product is flawed; you would be surprised at the deals I’ve gotten just because there was a washable stain on a piece of clothing. You never know if you don’t ask!

70 Leigh June 10, 2010 at 9:05 pm

I just signed up for Cellfire last week when they had the cinderella coupon.

71 April L June 11, 2010 at 12:53 am

Please put my name in for the $100 gift card. I just went to the forums and posted a recipe for Cheddar Bay Biscuits (Like Red Lobster). I have made these ALOT. Me and my hubby love them. I use Best choice New York Style Sharp Cheddar cheese. It is the only cheese I use except for american cheese. We buy the blocks for $2 and I use it to make mac and cheese, tacos, omlets or just to cut up onto a cracker. If you shop where they sell best choice brands, you gotta buy it and try it.
thanks
April

I just signed up for Cellfire last week wehn they had the cinderella coupon. My email address is flgulledge@att.net.

74 Leigh June 11, 2010 at 9:05 am

My tip is to combine couponing and rebating with a rewards credit card that you pay off every month to avoid paying any interest charges. I charge everything and get cash back on everything I buy. I am using my personal Discover card right now and getting another bonus: everytime you swipe your Discover card you get an entry to win a million dollars. I also do this for the business that mu husband and I own. Last year the credit card company paid my company over $800.00 to use their card and I paid no interest or any fees to them! I hope I win the gift card! flgulledge@att.net
