I didn’t find anything too interesting this week, so my shopping trip was not huge. I did pretty well, though, for what I got!
I bought those Gain for FREE at Walmart, they were on for $.97 each and the Coupon was for $1/1 8/29 Proctor & Gamble! Then I went to the Family Dollar Store and got the 3 toothbrushes with $3/3 8/1 Smart Source and 7 Post-it Notes with $1/1 8/15 Smart Source for FREE and the Band-Aids I used the Coupon $3/3 8/1 Smart Source and they were $1.10 each, so with the Coupon I got them for $.10 each!
So, everything above cost me $.30! Before Coupon it would have been $22.03 – I saved $21.73 or 99%!!!
Total: $21.73
Paid: $.30

I did great this week… I got 12 post its from walmart FREE…. They were only ringing up for .50 each so i used 6 coupons… Will be going back to get 12 more…
Only got 1 free Gain dish soap… At VONS i bought the Kraft cheese, they have a sale… Buy 3 at $1.69 ea – $1.00 off = .69 bag of cheese… the other 2 i got at $1.99 – $1.00 = .99 cream cheese…. Ended up saving $24.00 on that purchase…..
Another savings was at walmart… My subtotal was $64.13 after coupons, $39.47 = $24.66 in savings….
We are keeping all receipts from this month so we can see exactly how much i saved… So far in 1 week i have $48.00 in the jar….. YIPPPEEEEEE !!!!
@Michelle: Michelle, What a great job!! I LOVE the idea or keeping the receipts!! You did great on all the shopping you did this week! Did you use the $5 off 5 Kraft Cheese & Dairy Products coupon?

I did pretty good at walmart getting the gain and post its. 44 cents was all i spent on 7 gain and 4 post it.
i hit up family dollar for the wisk laundry soap on sale for 4 used the 3 off coupon! got 6 of those!
I stopped by publix to grab the lean cusine entrees on sale for 4/10 i got 4 bags for $3 using the bogo coupons and 2 $1/$2 coupons. wish i was able to grab a few more of those coupons i love those things!

I did pretty good being new at all this coupon savings, I went to publix where they take
competitors coupons , on Earthfare.com they have 1lb on ground chuck , 2.00 off a lb of your choice of steak , 1.00 off of HotDogs and 1.00 off any 1 lb of dry beans.
so my puchases were as follows
4 lb sirilon steaks
3 lb ground Chuck
1 lb Hot Dogs
Velveta cheese buy one get one free plus 5.00 off on 5
2 bottles Franks hot sauce
1 lb dry beans
2 Glade candles 2/4.00 with 2 coupons being 1.50 off
Total being =61.02
savings= 41.35
Total spent =19.67

Hey dian do you know if the post its are $1 anywhere this week? have tons of post it coupons and have no where to us them..? i kinda scared to go to walmart and use coupons! never have any luck going there! They always look at me like im stealing! Ugh! hate it!
@Candice: I got mine at Family Dollar. I heard some Target’s have them for $1, but, I don’t know. You can just take your coupons and the Walmart coupon policy with you…
