Could you please email me a list of places that I can order the whole coupon inserts from for the most reasonable prices. I have been using your site for while now and you are a real inspiration to all of us couponers out there!

@CHRISTINA: Thanks for the kind words!
You can use:
Coupon DeDe
eBay
QHunter

Any of those will sell you whole inserts, but it is never less than buying papers when you buy the whole insert.
Thanks!

I recently started watching extreme couponing. OMG i am in love. haha i want to learn to do this since i am currently a stay at home mom til i can get a job whil emy husband works :/ We spend so much money at the stores and we have gotten coupons and never use them because we dont know how to “cheat the system” i thought you go to a product and o its 3 bucks 25 cents off, who cares!
so if i am getting the gist of this correctly. You collect coupons til you have a lot and you go buy these ITEMS when they are on sale so they are cheaper and you get more off with your coupon? like say something is usually 3 bucks and you have a coupon for 25 cents off and it is on sale for 1.50 you are only paying 1.25 for it instead of 2? and certain stores double or triple the coupons so that means maybe 50-75 cents off right? so basically it would only be .75 per item depending on how many coupons you have?

If you are willing to share, where can i get coupons? I do not get the sunday paper, which i might start, and steal my mother in laws. idk anyone else who gets it? where else can i get them from?

i am so glad you put up your website!! If i get the hang of this i may put up one too! cause this is great for any groccery shopper to know! My hubs watched extreme couponing with me and i said BABY i want to do that! He says well we got a basement we can stock up! haha i wont go that overboard though! just stuff we need and use! LOVE your site. THANK YOU!

Curi,
I am very happy that Extreme Couponing is re-introducing coupon savings to the country. This is a great time to get involved in couponing, it can help many people get back on their feet!
You have stated it correctly – that is how couponing and stockpiling work best.
Wait until an item goes on it’s best sale or gets to it’s “rock bottom” price and then use a coupon with it and buy enough of it at that price to last you until the next sale and coupon combo comes along for it!
You can watch my video on where to find coupons:

I am happy to help people with my site and glad you found it. I would suggest you read this post to give you more info on “Extreme Couponing”: http://www.groceryshopforfree.com/2011/04/extreme-couponing-tutorial/

If you have any more questions, feel free to let me know!
Thanks!

Curi,

I, too, am so happy that you are going to join us COUPONERS who love to save money by knowing how and when to use coupons. PLEASE don’t have the idea that we are “CHEATINT THE SYSTEM” (your quote). I don’t mean to sound harsh, but everything we do is legal; trust me, the manufactureres and the stores know EXACTLY what they’re doing; they know how to bring in more customers. It is a win-win for them, but more important, it’s a WOOT ! WOOT! win for us!
Please keep in mind that EXTREME COUPONING is a produced show. They may show people getting 40 pkgs of a certain product for FREE, but they don’t show them going back to the store to get staples like milk, bread, fresh fruts, veggies and meats. I wish more people who are aired on the show shared their stock pile, which is what I do. I love to give away more than I keep. But, to each his own, I suppose.
Good luck with your coupoing venture. I promise that once you get the hang of things you will be hooke for life and will never go back to your old way of shopping again. You will want to take your coupon binder with you when you go out of town, or on vaca!

How do we figure out what is the lowest price of an item and when to buy it? what about coupon cycles? Sometimes I get tons of cover girl coupons and then I don’t see them for a long time. Is there a system to this madness?

Karen Kochenburger » The best way to find the lowest “Buy Price” is to make a price book! I made a video and Price Book Sheets for you to use, too!
Honestly coupons come out when there are sales for a particular product! So, before school starts for instance you will see school supplies and kid’s lunch items go on sale and you will also see coupons at the same time for those things! Sometimes the best time to use a coupon is to wait until it is just about to expire. They hope you will use it when it first comes out and they will try to entice you to use it right away, but, sometimes if you wait until closer to the time that coupon is ready to expire – you will see an even better sale. Again., tho the price book helps you tell when that would be!
I hope that helps!

That one thing you said about the expiration date is great info!! I love your info. I have been doing this for over a year and I have had to figure this all out on my own. I have cut my grocery budget in half and sometimes I save 85% or around there. That is with buying all of my meat and produce etc…I am bound and determine to save even more! Thanks again.
