hi dian
i have a few ?s for you……..
#1—-if i have 2 kraft mayo coupons buy 2 get 1.50 off…..can i use 2 coupons(which i have)
and get $3/2??
#2—–how do you get free gillette body wash this week(8-4-10) @ Kroger? what coupons or what are you doing to get this.
#3—-can you combine a kroger ecoupon wih a manufacture coupon.
for ex.. there’s a kroger ecoupon $2/venus razor and this week in the Sunday paper there was a venus coupon…..can i combine these…??

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Reply

2 Dian August 5, 2010 at 3:27 pm

@Jessica: #1. Nope, sorry but, the $1.50 off 2 covers both items, so you can’t use 2 of them unless you buy 4
#2. Gillette Body Wash – Sale $1.99 use $2/1 from 8/1 PG – Final FREE Buy 4
#3. No, and an eCoupon can’t be doubled either (just FYI), so you have to choose either the eCoupon or the manu Q

Does all of this make sense? If not, feel free to tell me what you didn’t understand and I will be happy to explain!
Thanks for asking!

Not to be a bugger (and yeah, I’m jumping in a year later, lol), but if you’ve already loaded an eCoupon, it takes precedence over any physical coupon. So before you load an eCoupon, be VERY sure it’s the one you want to use. It really sucks when you’ve already loaded an eCoupon then you find a physical coupon worth more off. Oh, and most eCoupons cannot be removed from your loyalty card either. :-(

Reply

4 Dian August 30, 2011 at 4:45 pm

TJ » You are correct, they have really cracked down on that. Some have found that if you use your Loyalty Card AFTER you give your paper coupons you can circu, vent the register and make the stacking work.
Thanks!

The ones at Kroger? That coupon is for 4.04 – but, so far Kroger is taking them for the 4 oz snack crackers.
Is that what you are talking about?

I am new here and I have been looking through the site a bit at a time. The problem I have is I live in a very rural area and The closest stores to me are DG, Rite Aide, Foodlion, CVS, Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, Fresh Pride, And Walmart. So we dont have alot of choices as to where to shop. There are no news papers that I know of in the area that offer coupons anymore and the ones I see online dont seem to change but once a month. So what would be the way to get ahead doing this.

Reply

41 Dian February 8, 2011 at 11:57 am

@Ann Lewis: You may want to purchase coupons from eBay or Coupon Dede that might help. Or have someone from another area mail them to you.
I would maybe use Craigslist and see if you can find other couponers in your area, maybe they know where to get coupons in your area.
I hope that helps, let me know if I can help with anything else!
Thanks!

Reply

45 Dian March 29, 2011 at 1:27 pm

michelle » Well, let’s start with what stores you are looking for – Kroger? What else do you have near you? WalMart? You have to print and know your stores coupon policy – that is the most important and then work with in those rules. Many times the employees don’t know or fully understand the policies. You have to show it to them sometimes or call customer service at corporate and sometimes you have to involve a District manager.
Tell me what stores you are wanting to shop at and what trouble you are having and we can go from there!
I hope that helps!

Daphene » Walgreens should work. Albertson’s are broken in to a few sections in the country. So, check their website and find the deals that match the sale listed on their site. As far as WalMart goes they are often different even across the street from each other – so, any of the ones listed should be CLOSE to what you can find in your store.

Does your Midwest section include Missouri? I didn’t see one for us, but we are considered Midwest, so I wanted to ask because we do have a Kroger & Walmart, but didn’t see it in the list of stores for our area. Plus, we also have a store called Dollar General, & they have GREAT deals all the time for snacky foods/drinks on the cheap, brand names too. Plus they accept manu coupons now, too! They don’t double, but its worth the savings.

Kerri
CVS/pharmacy
Customer Relations
08300079
“When an item is on sale for buy one, get one free and the customer has a buy one get one free coupon for that same product, the coupon will be accepted and both items will essentially become free (plus any applicable sales tax). Also, two manufacturer coupons can be used on a buy one get one free purchase as long as two items are scanned at the register. The system logic sees two items scanned and will allow two coupons.”

I have a questions. First question: If I buy two products and the coupon says I need to buy 2 can I use 2 coupons. Weis told me no. and to let you know I still can’t click on the foodlion for north east. I see that you have kroger listed for WV but what part of west virginia. I live in Martinsburg and we don’t have a kroger. when I look on bing.com for kroger they keep direction me to a jewely store in hagerstow md.

Angela burchett » On the first question – if you have a coupon that says $2/2, for example – you have to purchase 2 and that coupon covers both items so you can only use 1 coupon. Now, if the coupon is Buy One Get One then you can use an additional coupon for the “Buy One” part of the other coupon. That Food Lion is for the East Coast not the North east :-( . I am not sure which parts of WV have Kroger stores. If you go to Kroger.com and search you can see where they are. They say there are 50 in the state.
Hope that helps,
Dian

I live in Florida and we have other stores besides what is listed. But then I notice that you have Aldi’s under another state. Will Aldi’s be the same prices?

Karen Kochenburger » No, they will be different in different areas. We just got Aldi’s here last year, so, it’s still kind of a novelty for us! :-)

Is there a blog for Wichita Kansas?

Is there a blog for Hickory NC matchups?

The stores here are CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Food Lion, Lowes, Aldi, Freds, Dollar General, Family Dollar and of course Wal-Mart.

Marlene » There is not one specifically for Hickory, but, you should be able to use the Southeast/NC & the NC/Charlotte for Lowe’s, Walgreens, & CVS. Walmart stores are different even across the street from each other so, most of the Walmart lists you find anywhere will be a guide. Family Dollar & Dollar General are pretty much the same everywhere, as are Rite Aid, CVS, & Walgreens.
I hope that helps!

I love this site!!! I use the walmart and target sections ALOT!! I wish you could do dillions. I know they are a krogers assosiate, but the kroger deals aren’t always the same :( and that is pretty much the only store besides walmart and target here in Wichita, KS. Well either way thanks alot for creating the site.

Hi Dian,
I have been couponing for a few months now, and although I haven’t gotten anything for free, I have saved quite a bit of money. Unfortunately, I was looking at your penny pinching bargain bunch page and there wasn’t much listed for my area. I live in Medford, WI. (We have Wal-Mart, K-Mart, and County Market (a SuperValu Store)) About 45 miles from me is Wausau and they have Walgreens, Target, Wal-Mart, Shopko, Dollar General and a few others. Could you possibly incorporate these into your list?
Thanks a lot, Brett

Brett Gagnon » I am so sorry this apparently got lost!
I will definitely look for those.
The Walgreens and Dollar General are going to be pretty similar around the country. But, I will definitely look for more store lists in your area!
Thanks!

I am in Indianapolis (suburb) Indiana, we have Kroger, Walmart, Big Lots, Dollar General, Walgreens, Meijer and more. What area would I use? Thanks Dian for all your hard work. God bless.

Sharon » For Kroger & Meijer I think Greater Cincinnati/Northern KY would work. For The rest you can choose any, they are going to be pretty much the same. Walmart stores can be different even across the street from each other. But, they are generally close.
I hope that helps!
Thanks so much for the kinds words!!

joyce » I am still looking for more stores to add all the time :)
As far as Walmart – they are pretty close anywhere you go – I mean honestly prices in Walmart stores across the street from each other can vary in price – but, they are pretty close in price.
What did you see that said 2011?
Thanks!
