When my daughter was very young, I hadn’t yet learned to check all of the clothes and pockets before I washed, and she had a green crayon in the pocket of her pants.  Well, I still didn’t notice as I put that entire load of clothes in the dryer where they were ruined forever with green crayon!  A friend a few years later told me how I could have fixed it, but, I learned my lesson!
