My name is Roxana Guy, and I am a huge fan of your site. My church has a coupon group that we have been organizing to help our community. We decided we were going to battle this recession our way. However, one of the ladies from my group went to a Kroger in Bowling Green, KY. When she went to use her coupons, the cashier would only allow her to use 3 printable coupons.
I have a friend who is a manager at one of these Kroger stores in BG, but he has not mentioned a single thing to me and usually keeps me up to date on policies as they change.
But I am curious to know if there are other readers/fans that have made any remarks or complaints similar to this. I have checked their policy and see no record or noted changes of this.
Also, there have been remarks in my group that Kroger will not double all coupons now but amounts under $.50.
Please, if you or any of your fans could provide experiences or links that I could share with this group, I would be very grateful.
Roxana Guy » All Kroger stores in different regions have different policies regarding coupons. On top of that, store managers can choose to impose limits, such as those you mentions having to do with printables. If a store has a concern that printables that have come in to their store could be fake – then by imposing a limit of 3 they can keep from losing too much if they do find someone who is using fake printables.
So, check with the store manager as far as printables and limits go, and check with corporate for your regional coupon policy.
In my area – they double up to $.50 and triple up to $.39.
I hope that helps!
