My Friend, Tamona and I have come up with a brilliant plan!
Y’all know I don’t cook much and that’s why Susan does my Tuesdays Tasty Tidbits. Well, so I thought about adding crafts, too – but, the only thing is I don’t craft, either!
You might be, at this point, asking what do I do?! lol I find deals for y’all!! That’s what I do!
So, anyway…Tamona is going to do Make Something Mondays for us here!
How To Make Marshmallow Fondant
Spring screams cleaning, re-decorating, out with the old, in with the new, gardening, and outdoor fun. Some of that outdoor fun includes beautiful picnics and LOTS of cake. I see tons of parties this time of year and I love how beautiful everything looks. You will love today’s Make Something Monday project because today we are making our own marshmallow fondant! Some people say that marshmallow fondant is much tastier but since I don’t like fondant at all, I would not be a good judge. My daughter likes marshmallow fondant but thinks regular fondant tastes like cardboard with flavor added!
You will need:
1/4 cup of Crisco
16 ounces mini Marshmallows
4 tablespoons of water
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract or 1 1/2 teaspoon of imitation vanilla
8 cups of powdered sugar (2lbs of powdered sugar)
Watch me make it so you can see exactly how this is actually made!
