What Makes You Do What You Do?

in Great Deals on 05/25/10

Q & A I have a few questions, if y’all don’t mind chiming in, I would be very appreciative:

I want to understand what y’all would like to read on a site like this.  So: Why do you read specific blogs? What makes you go back everyday or do you? What makes you not return to a site ever again? How did you find the blogs you like to read? Is there anything you’d like me do differently? Anything you’d like me to add as a regular post or item?

I found your site by clicking through another blog that had linked back to you for the Whole Foods list. There don’t seem to be too many that cover them. Once I got here, I really appreciated the videos, there’s just more of a personal touch with them, not to mention, you answered me.

I have a friend that is just getting started so I referred her to you as well, knowing that sometimes it’s just easier to hear and see someone explain the process.

As far as what’s nice to have on a blog, not just the deals, but a bit on the authors life and how they apply day to day the things we learn. Maybe sharing other things on the frugal lifestyle in general, paying down debt, income opportunities, tips and tricks, etc. 🙂

I found your blog through a friends link your blog to her site. She knew of the situation I was in with my huband lossing his job and I have been here for awhile now. I have this blog bookmarked and check it a few times a day.

I learn a lot from this site and wehre to go to find stuff to help me and my family. I like the fact you tell me where to get the coupons and the deals.

    Thanks so much!!!

What I like most about your blog is that every deal you posted here is real, and I was able to get the exact scenarios at the exact prices you have listed – I think that’s because you live so close to me, I am in Plano. Keep up the great work!!

I’m not a coupon-clipper, but i still love finding in-store deals, or deals i don’t really need coupons for. And i look for store i go to on a regular basis–like wal-mart, target, Albertsons, and walgreens.

i found you randomly–just by luck!

I like the blog how it is…i just “use” what i can when i can!
